There were many types of speakers used in 2014. According to its working principle, it can be divided into electromagnetic, electric, piezoelectric, electrostatic, ionic, airflow conversion, airflow modulation, and so on. But in 2014, the speakers used for playback in high fidelity systems mainly used electric speakers. Speakers are still the weakest link in high fidelity playback systems. Therefore, in order to achieve excellent playback performance, it is important to choose speakers. And if you want to choose the appropriate speaker, you need to understand the working principles of various speakers
Dimensional measurement
Measure the size of the horn (speaker, jargon "unit") based on the effective vibration radius. Calculate based on the diameter of the fixed rubber ring that has not been pressed into the outer edge of the paper basin, and usually use inches for the caliber of the speaker.
The ruler commonly used by people is mostly metric. When measuring the diameter of a paper basin in centimeters, divide it by 2.54 (2.54 centimeters equals one inch) to obtain inches.
4 inch horn: The diagonal distance between screw holes is 11.5 centimeters, the distance between adjacent holes is 8 centimeters, and the horn diameter is 10 centimeters;
5-inch horn: The diagonal distance between screw holes is 13.5 centimeters, the distance between adjacent holes is 9.5 centimeters, and the diameter is 13 centimeters;
6.5 inch horn: The diagonal distance between screw holes is 15.5 centimeters, the distance between adjacent holes is 11 centimeters, and the diameter is 16.5 centimeters;
The distance between adjacent screw holes of 4X6 inches is 12.3 centimeters and 7.3 centimeters;
The distance between adjacent screw holes of 6X9 inches is 16.5 centimeters and 11 centimeters, respectively.
