Speaker Installation Techniques

Horn type speakers are still widely used in some markets in rural and urban areas. Once the sound film of horn type speakers is lost, it is necessary to ensure the correct installation of the sound film position. Here is a method that can easily solve this problem. The installation can be carried out in two steps.
The first step is to select the appropriate thickness of paper and cut two loose~10mm strips of paper with a length 20mm larger than the diameter of the center piece. Then place the two strips of paper perpendicular to each other on the center piece (position them in the middle). To prevent them from moving, a little paste can be used to stick them together. Insert both ends of the paper strip into the magnetic gap. Align the voice coil on the sound film with the magnetic gap and gently press it down. Due to the presence of the paper strip, the position of the voice coil is exactly in the middle of the magnetic gap without deviation. Apply universal adhesive to the edge of the sound film and cover the top cover of the sound head. Align the screw holes and tighten the screws. And note the relative position of the cover to the sound head in the appropriate position. Leave it for 8 hours, wait until the all-around adhesive is completely dry, then unscrew the screws and remove the upper cover. At this point, the sound film has already adhered to the upper cover.
The second step is to solder the lead wire onto the terminal post. Remove two pieces of paper and cover the upper cover back, aligning it with the original markings. At this point, a multimeter R can be used × When using a 1.5V dry battery, continuously touch the two terminals to make a sound while tapping the upper cover until the sound reaches its maximum and there is no friction sound, then gradually tighten the fixing screws. When tightening screws, it is advisable to rotate and tighten them proportionally, rather than tightening one screw too tightly before tightening the second one.
